Play #1: The Table

It’s time to set the field…I mean table and I’ve got 2 options for your Super Bowl Party table decor. Both require very few supplies and are easy to do. But they make the world of a difference when you’re trying to create a little excitement.

What You Need for Hosting a Super Bowl Party

Option 1: Super Bowl Sayings

  • White Craft Paper
  • Sharpie

Option 2: Football Field

  • Green Plastic Table Cover
  • White Duck Tape
  • Gold Number Stickers

How to Make The Best Football Party Tables

Option 1: Super Bowl Sayings

Start by lining your table with White Craft Paper. Then write fun Super Bowl sayings all over the paper like touchdown, field goal, Red Zone, Two-Point Conversion, and Lombardi Trophy. Or you can draw plays with a combination of X’s and O’s (X for defensive players and O for offensive players). Yes! It’s that simple!

Option 2: Football Field

First, line your table with a Green Plastic Table Cover. Tape down the sides of the Plastic Table Cover to mark the edges of the field. Then tape down the yard lines and place the Gold Number Stickers by each of the yard lines on both sides of the table. This is such an easy, cute idea that will also make cleanup a breeze!

Play #2: The Stadium

You and I both know that when it comes to hosting a Super Bowl Party, you need lots and lots of snacks! So, what better way to display all the fan favorites than a Super Bowl Snack Stadium?!

Last year, I got a chance to share my Snack Stadium on the Today Show and everyone LOVED it. It’s one that you definitely need to try!

What You Need for Hosting a Super Bowl Party

  • Turf Field: You’re all set if you complete Play #1 – Football Field. Or you can buy a mini turf field to place on top of your table.
  • Soda Can Boxes
  • Disposable Aluminum Loaf Pans
  • Disposable Plastic Cups
  • Craft Paper/Wrapping Paper in the Super Bowl Teams’ colors
  • Tape
  • Optional
    • Black and White Striped Paper (optional)
    • Chocolate Rolo Candies
    • Mini Field Goals and Footballs (You can make your own or get little cake toppers.)

How to Make The Super Bowl Snack Stadium

Start by cutting six soda can boxes in half. Then turn them into stadium seating by cutting the long sides diagonally. Wrap each of them in the teams’ colors, and if you want to add some extra detail, line the bottoms and edges in black and white striped paper.

Next, tape or glue the bottoms of two disposable aluminum loaf pans together. Then tape or glue the bottom of one disposable aluminum loaf pan to the bottom of two disposable plastic cups). Repeat these two steps once more. Now, layout your stadium seating and fill each of the containers with your favorite snacks. My family and I filled our Snack Stadium with chips, veggies, and dips. And if you want to add a little extra fun, stick some mini field goals, players, and footballs into Chocolate Rolo candies and place them in the middle of the field.

Play #3: The Dip

This is my family’s go to dip for Football Sunday, so it’s no surprise that it’ll be in our Super Bowl lineup. This creamy cheese dip is so easy to make and is guaranteed to keep the energy high on game day. The little kick that the Rotel gives the Velveeta Cheese is impossible to resist and is sure to keep all your party people coming back for more.

What You Need for Hosting a Super Bowl Party

  • 1 pack of Velveeta Cheese
  • 2 cans of Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies

How to Make the Easiest, Tastiest Football Dip

Drop 1 pack of Velveeta cheese into a crockpot. Drain 1 can of Rotel and pour the other can as is into the crockpot. Then let them simmer for 2 hours. It’s that easy!

Play #4: Piece of Cake

Everyone loves a sweet treat, so why not make the winning move and create a Football Cake?! I’ve got a hack that makes it super simple and doesn’t require any fancy cake molds. Not convinced…read on to find out how.

What You Need for Hosting a Super Bowl Party

  • 1 Round Chocolate Cake: You can make it from scratch or use your go to chocolate cake mix.
  • Chocolate Frosting
  • White Vanilla Frosting
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Green Food Dye

How to Make a Football Cake

Once you have your round chocolate cake, cut a slice straight across out of the center. Put the two sides together to make your football and cover the cake in chocolate frosting.

Mix green food dye with shredded coconut to make the grass on the field and place it all around your cake.

Last, use the vanilla frosting to create the laces on the football.

Now, your Football Cake is ready to enjoy!

Play #5: The Trophy

It wouldn’t be the Super Bowl without the Lombardi Trophy. Whether you’re wanting a little decor or a prize for your Super Bowl party games, this DIY Football Trophy will be the perfect addition.

What You Need for Hosting a Super Bowl Party

  • Empty Box
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Football
  • Plastic Vase or Container
  • Silver Spray Paint

How to Make Your Very Own Lombardi Trophy

Spray paint the football and vase silver. Then glue the football onto the bottom of the vase.

Next, wrap an empty box with aluminum foil to make the stand.

Place your trophy on the stand and there you have it! A prize that everyone will be hoping they win.
